Job Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join our existing team. The role will be crucial to NCD’s ongoing growth and success. We are looking for an individual who is positive, motivated, and self-driven, who wants to grow a strong team. The job will be exciting, demanding and fast paced and will require you to
- Establish and maintain excellent client and supplier relationships on an on-going basis
- Be responsible for the delivery of various projects on time and within budget
- Provide full cost control including valuations, managing delays, risks & opportunities and the issuing of variations
- Ordering and delivering of material on time
- Procurement and management of Sub-contractors and specialists and the allocating of labour resources
- Maintain quality control and auditing on projects
- Be both office and site based

Essential Skills Required
- Fully qualified electrician or higher
- SMSTS certificate with current valid ECS card
- Excellent working knowledge of current health & safety legislation
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in CM role within Residential, commercial, and industrial sectors
- Fully proficient in Microsoft systems including word and excel etc or similar
- Excellent people skills
- Excellent communications skills and extremely well organised and presentable
- Able to demonstrate excellent team ethos
- Full clean driving licence
Desirable Skills Required
- 2392 Initial verification & certification qualifications
- Experience in managing projects in excess of £1million in value
- Experienced with Amtec/Trimble contracts master software systems
- Experience with AutoCad
