Job Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join our existing team.  The role will be crucial to NCD’s ongoing growth and success. We are looking for an individual who is positive, motivated, and self-driven, who wants to grow a strong team. The job will be exciting, demanding and fast paced and will require you to

  • Establish and maintain excellent client and supplier relationships on an on-going basis
  • Be responsible for the delivery of various projects on time and within budget
  • Provide full cost control including valuations, managing delays, risks & opportunities and the issuing of variations
  • Ordering and delivering of material on time
  • Procurement and management of Sub-contractors and specialists and the allocating of labour resources
  • Maintain quality control and auditing on projects
  • Be both office and site based

Essential Skills Required

  • Fully qualified electrician or higher
  • SMSTS certificate with current valid ECS card
  • Excellent working knowledge of current health & safety legislation
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in CM role within Residential, commercial, and industrial sectors
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft systems including word and excel etc or similar
  • Excellent people skills
  • Excellent communications skills and extremely well organised and presentable
  • Able to demonstrate excellent team ethos
  • Full clean driving licence

Desirable Skills Required

  • 2392 Initial verification & certification qualifications
  • Experience in managing projects in excess of £1million in value
  • Experienced with Amtec/Trimble contracts master software systems
  • Experience with AutoCad
